Who needs video?

Who doesn't?

According to Wyzowl, 86% of marketers are using video as a marketing tool. It's a tool, like anything else, and one of the most powerful. So who needs video? Everyone.

You might be asking yourself, but what kind of video do I need? There are so many options, informational, testimonials, training, branding, product, and event?

The video should be determined by the problem it needs to solve.

Here's a good rule of thumb: Keep it simple. Don’t try and tell people 10 things in one video. Keep it to one or two main points that you want them to remember, and one feeling you want them to walk away with.

Brand Video

A broad overview of who you are as a company. Doesn’t get into a huge amount of detail on the “what”, and focuses mostly on the “why”.

Testimonial

Let people hear directly from one of your customers about how your product/service helped them.

Explainer

Your product/service is self-explanatory, right? Mmmm... Not so much. Make sure people know exactly what it is you do and how you make it look so easy.

Social Media Content

The beauty of taking the time and investing in a great video session is that the footage can be utilized in a variety of ways. Each time we pull out the camera, there's an opportunity to capture who you and share that with your audience. Get the most out of your investment by adding on social media cuts to your video package, you won't regret it.

Product

Got a shiny new product you want people to buy? Well how are they going to know just how shiny it is if they don’t see it? Show it off in a video for maximum shininess (unless you’re selling matte-finish paint).

Company Culture

This type of video can serve two purposes, accomplishing a lot of what a brand video does while also being specifically tailored to attract talent.

Short Doc

There are a lot of forms that this can take, but it’s important that this video isn’t actively trying to sell anything. If there’s a cause that your company is passionate about, or something significant that you’ve achieved, turn it into a compelling story that will captivate and entertain your customers.

Event Highlight

Want to make everyone jealous for missing your big event? Show them just what they passed up. Perfect for maintaining the momentum on social media and can be re-used to build hype for a similar event in the future.

Informational Series

Position yourself as an authority in your field, and share your valuable insights with your customers. Combine these with an automated email campaign to capture and nurture leads.

User Generated Content

Give your customers insight into a lifestyle with your product making the difference. By taking your users' content and combining their stories, you’re not only offering insight into your customer’s potential journey, but also showing that you see and understand them.
